The long-range job
Marksmen in this game sit off the capture letter and shoot into it. Footage shows players avoiding the middle of A, B, C, and sometimes D, then using rock formations and rooftops that look down on the routes into those points. Roof positions are also where defenders camp, so a perch is both a tool and a place you can be cleared from.
Guns for that job
The Intervention is the named sniper pass at 999 Robux. The AWP is the Cash and prize-spin sniper. Bring a close weapon as well. Footage shows an MP7 used when infantry reach the perch. A Glock from the armory is the published sidearm if you do not have the MP7.
There is no attachment menu, so you cannot add a scope that the gun does not already have.
Reach the perch
- Take a free base helicopter rather than running the open ground.
- Land on the rock or roof that sees the sector, then get out.
- Aircraft exits are reported to deal no fall damage, but an Apache or a tank can still remove the perch once you are spotted.
- When armor starts hitting the rock, move. Staying for a second angle is how the perch gets shelled.
Recon helicopters are described as spotting tools for the team. They do not make a stationary sniper safe from the Apache.
When not to snipe
If your team is losing the only sector it holds, a rifle on the point is worth more than a perch. The shotgun and assault rifles are the tools for that retake.
